Created Issue: Error when downloading my images [5459]

I'm receiving the following error when I try to download all of the pictures (908 total) in my Flickr account. I just downloaded and installed the latest version (it was my first install). I'm running Win Vista Home. I have pasted the entire error message below. Any idea what I can do to try and resolve this issue? Thanks.

I'm seeing some really strange behavior with the PhotoSearch method. If I supply options with Page = 1 and PerPage = 1, I get different TotalPhotos than if I specify PerPage = 10. The different in one of my tests are 2, 43 and 45 photos. The search is the same and it's all Creative Commons licensed photos I'm searching for.

The use of glass effect and Windows Vista-only control for the source selection has made Flickr Downloadr unable to support Windows XP. Add code to check the Windows version and fall back to simpler UI.

Thanks for reporting the problem with IsWindows7 check, you're code is wrong as well. It's now fixed to be: Environment.OSVersion.Version.Major >= 6 && Environment.OSVersion.Version.Build >= 7600.

Commented Issue: Huge page sizes and multiple downloads [5315]

I wanted to download a public album containing 497 images. For that reason I set the page size to 500 and checked the Check all checkbox. Unfortunately after that the program only downloaded 25 images or something (I cant remember, 20-30). So I had to download smaller pages. I haven't debugged it yet, I just hope that there are no size limitations in the code, page size of 100 seems to work kind of fine. (There are some issues, maybe because of the multiple download: going back and download again).
Note that in case of using page size of 500 the filling of the listview takes significant amount of time, and the program is unresponsive. I assume that his is because the listview fill code is not in a separate thread like the downloader.

Thank you for this feedback, I'm looking into improvements on the listview as the latest changes has very poor performance. If you want to download all the photos in a specific search, you do not have to check all the photos using the check boxes, it will automatically download everything when you don't select any specific photo.

1.) If I go back to the preview page after a download to initiate another download, the Check All checkbox is checked so I have to click it twice to check again all elements on another page. So this checkbox should be cleared (?) when I go back? But only if someone goes back not to recheck his/her settings but to initiate another download. So maybe the checkbox should be cleared on page change?

2.) Upon initiating a new download the progressbar is already at 100% from the previous download. So it should be reset to 0 and handled correctly.

This is not a big deal. I've tried your project yesterday, I have WinXP Prof SP3. I had to do some thing to get the program to work on WinXP:
1. ) FormFlickr_Shown crashed because IsWindows7 worked in the opposite way.
Now mine is like:
return (Environment.OSVersion.Version.Major > 6 && Environment.OSVersion.Version.Build > 7600);
notice the opposite brackets.
2. ) I had add
if (!Program.IsWindows7())
{
return;
}
to EnableThumbnailToolbarButtons and DisableThumbnailToolbarButtons.
